Who we work with
Already have engineers? We strengthen the team you have.
Not every company needs Nexstella to be its primary technology function. We can fill gaps, strengthen your existing team and collaborate without competing for ownership.
In short
If you already have engineers, you may need architectural advice, a specialist AI team or extra engineering capacity. A fractional CTO is available where explicitly agreed. We collaborate with your team and contribute engineering. The first conversation is free.

01 What this stage needs
What does this stage usually need?
- Architectural advice on a decision your team is weighing
- A specialist team for AI, data or cloud work
- Extra engineering capacity for a defined backlog
- A review of implementation trade-offs before they become costly
- A fractional CTO, where explicitly agreed
02 How we start
How do we usually start?
We start by learning how your team works, what you are building and where you want help. We contribute engineering while respecting the decisions that properly belong to your team.
From there the help can be an architecture review, a specialist team on one workstream or added engineering capacity. Technical leadership such as a fractional CTO is available where explicitly agreed.
03 Engagement model
Which engagement model fits?
Flexible engineering allocates specialist capacity to an evolving backlog, and a dedicated team delivers against an agreed roadmap. Advisory and architecture work suits architecture reviews and technology selection.
04 Your questions
What questions do people at this stage bring?
- Can you review our architecture before we commit to it?
- Can you add capacity for AI or data work we cannot staff?
- How do we keep our own team in charge of decisions?
- Who can help with MLOps, DevOps or streaming data?
- Can you provide technical leadership, not only engineering?
05 Where to start
Where should you start?
06 A typical situation
What does this usually look like?
A product company has a capable engineering team, but a new AI feature needs MLOps and operational experience that nobody on the team has yet.
We would add specialist engineers to work alongside the team on that feature, set up the pipelines and monitoring it needs, and document the work so the team can run it afterward.
07 Questions
Questions people ask
No. Fractional CTO services are available where explicitly agreed. We do not imply that every engagement includes a formally appointed CTO or executive-level accountability, and technology partnership is the overarching relationship.
That is the aim. We collaborate with your team, fill gaps and strengthen what is there, and we respect the decisions that properly belong to you.
That works. Architectural advice, technology selection or a review of a decision can stand on its own as a focused advisory engagement.
